A Better Way To Eat Kale?

Let's face it...kale is really good for you but it's not always the most tasty thing you can eat. At least not compared to chocolate. I have never woken up in the morning and said, "I can't wait to eat some kale!"

But...lale has been nicknamed "one of the healthiest vegetables on the planet," and it's a wise choice to add it to your diet.

My (ex)sister-in-law (we are still good friends - my ex comes from a great family) gave me this little tip: Place some washed, chopped (or ripped or baby) kale in a baggie. Add some lemon juice. Shake. Then let it sit in the fridge in the baggie until you need it.

The lemon juice makes the kale less bitter, and adds a nice touch of flavor, especially when you cook it. It also seems to "soften" the kale so it's not as stiff to chew.

Eat more kale (I accidentally type cake at first. Freudian slip?)
