The secret to staying with exercise is doing something you like it. If you don’t like it, you won’t stick with it. And if you don’t stick with it, you won’t lose weight. This little baby, right here, aside from my children, is the love of my life. I love this piece of equipment. I feel like Vanna, “May I have a letter, please?” The letter is S for Spinning®*.
Spinning has been the single biggest influence in my life. I became a whole different person when I started Spinning. I found strength inside that I didn’t know I had. I learned how to push myself. Most of all, I learned how to be in the moment and connect with myself.
I remember my very first Spinning class. I could barely stand when I got off the bike, my legs were shaking so bad. It took me six weeks to get back on the bike, and boy did my butt hurt. I couldn’t even sit, and I did not want to get back in the saddle.
Now I teach Spinning classes about four days a week. I love it. It’s the thing that gives me joy. It frees my mind. It makes me healthier. I love teaching and I love sharing the experience with other people.
