Wacky Wednesday: Pushups

I had some fun this. If you look closely, you’ll see a little special something on the floor in front of me as I lower myself into a pushup. He he. Most people hate pushups. I love them because they work all the muscles in your upper body, and your abs, too.

To do a full pushup (you can also do a modified pushup):

  1. Start on your hands and knees with your hands directly beneath your shoulders, knees under your hips, fingers facing forward. Pull your belly button towards your spine, then pull your shoulder blades down your back. Extend both legs straight out behind you. Keep the back of your head in line with your spine.
  2. Bend elbows and lower your body toward the floor, keeping your body completely straight and in alignment.
  3. Exhale, draw belly button to spine and straighten arms, pressing slowly upwards back into a plank.

(Add Nutella as you see fit). Enjoy those new guns and great shoulders.
